Thank you for the turtle story. I have a turtle that I enjoy partly because of his natural
tendency to protect himself by crawling in his shell. The very best part is that he does not
apologize for it, he does not answer any questions, he just is. But, when he is safe, when
he is in my hand, he will stretch his legs out, stick his head out as far as he can so I can
see the red marks on his neck with all the pride in the World. And dare I say, he smiles at
me. I think you can see why I loved your taking your turtles to the beach story. Good luck
